A young family living in a Glebe home undergo a makeover.

Entrance: Upon entering, a custom bench and moulding with hooks add storage to this small area. Painted out white and detailed to match the mouldings through out the home.

Once in the home, a custom 100% wool runner goes up the stairs. A stylish glass Fortuny light with a single hanging Murano glass bead adds character. A series of 4 prints fill up an otherwise blank wall with interest.

Kitchen Nook: This small eating area is all about visual interest through shapes. Here we added a custom round, solid maple table with pedestal, matching buffet to fit in a niche, roman blinds with stripes, tall wood vase with sticks and a backyard redesign using small Golden Globe cedars.

Dining Room: A vegetable dyed area rug sets the perfect back drop to this formal dining room. The colour used for the drapes was pulled from the newly recovered chairs in a floral print.

Living Room: Custom area rugs in 100% wool, lighting, vintage mirrored chest, draperies and new furniture all adds to the design of this home. It's comfortable, inviting and fresh. The biggest change was the fireplace. Before it was covered in a busy pattern of brick. It also had open shelving creating a more messy look. The front was covered with a crisp white, wood front. It has mouldings that match the rest of the home. Door fronts were added to the shelves to hide any clutter.
